Anderson Cooper shared how life is going with his adorable 9-month-old son, Wyatt, in an interview for The Ellen Degeneres Show. After revealing that Wyatt is a big fan of songs like “The Wheels on the Bus” and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” Anderson explained what it’s been like to coparent with ex-boyfriend Benjamin Maisani.

“We actually still live in the same house because we get along really well,” said the CNN anchor. “It’s weird, but it works out. It was interesting because he wasn’t really sure he wanted to have a kid, which is one of the reasons we probably broke up,” Cooper explained. “But then he came around on the idea, and now, he is just such a great parent.”

In fact, Anderson said that Benjamin even shed a few tears while Wyatt was receiving some routine vaccinations. “Wyatt doesn’t cry when he gets his shot, but I turned around when Wyatt got his first shot and Benjamin was like, weeping,” he said. “He’s become this big softie. It’s really sweet to see.”

When Ellen pressed Anderson on whether more kids are in his future, his reaction came off adorably flustered. “I don’t know. There’s nothing in the works,” he said. “I don’t know. Yes, I would love to, I think it would be great for him to have a sibling. I’m not sure I can handle another, but he’s really such an easy kid. He’s still sleeping like 12-and-a-half hours every night. He eats his sweet peas and his mushed cauliflower. And he’s just a happy little chappy.”
