Someone is going to have to give Ricky Martin’s daughter a history lesson about her dad’s career! During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the iconic singer and doting dad sat down to discuss what he’s been up to over the last year and just how seriously his daughter takes her CoComelon. Ricky and husband Jwan Yosef share four kids together: 12-year-old twin boys Valentino and Matteo, 2-year-old daughter Lucía, and 1-year-old son Renn. “I have one little girl that has two daddies and three brothers. She’s 2 years old and she knows it,” he said about Lucía being the boss of the house. “She doesn’t snap fingers yet, but she’s about to.”
Like almost every toddler on planet Earth, Lucía is obsessed with Netflix’s CoComelon, and naturally, her incredibly talented singer of a father loves to sing along to the educational series with her. But nope, it’s Lucía’s world and they’re all just living in it – she doesn’t let her daddy join in! “This is serious business, she doesn’t let me sing,” Ricky said.
While the Martin-Yosef family might be enjoying the new CoComelon special that released on the streaming platform this month, they also have Ricky’s music to sing along to (which, for the record, his other kids enjoy). “The big ones are telling me, ‘Come on, Dad. When are we going on the road? We’ve got to do this.’ They’re really looking forward to it,” he said. “They love being on the road. They started touring with me when they were 4 and we’re back.
